Have you ever considered how your social identities (race, class, gender, etc.) influence how you navigate your experiences abroad? The College of Education and Human Ecology’s Office of Equity, Diversity, and Global Engagement (EDGE) invites you to participate in this workshop where attendees will learn the importance of understanding social identities, how social identities shape relationships with different host communities while abroad and how social identities contribute to issues of power, privilege and oppression.
Establishing International Programs and Education Abroad

Please join EHE’s Office of Equity, Diversity, and Global Engagement (EDGE) for an information session on establishing international programs and education abroad. This session will introduce interested faculty to the functions of each office, EHE’s strategic priorities in global engagement, the process of how to start and maintain international partnerships, and an overview of how to develop an education abroad program. Registration is required.
