A 2022 Look at Gandhi, His Thinking and His Critics

September 7, 2022 @ 2:00 pm - 2:30 pm

Ohio State Global Lecture Series

Keynote speaker: Rajmohan Gandhi

Wednesday, September 7, 2022

2 – 3:30 p.m.

Rajmohan Gandhi, grandson of Mahatma Gandhi, will provide insight into one of the world’s best known political and spirtual leaders. The 75th anniversary of India’s independence, which occurred on August 15, is an apt moment to look at what Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi means to the world today. This lecture will seek to examine the springs of Gandhi’s life, the core of his message, and the message of his major critics. A Q&A will take place immediately following the lecture.

Attendees will be able to purchase Rajmohan Gandhi’s book, “Gandhi: The Man, His People and The Empire,” for $15, while supplies last (cash or check purchases only). Rajmohan Gandhi will autograph books purchased on site. All proceeds are earmarked for the Gandhi Memorial Society.

Please note: Seating is limited and registration is recommended.
