On February 11th each year, the International Day of Women and Girls in Science is celebrated around the world. In the College of Education and Human Ecology, we recognize the importance of making visible the valuable contributions of women in the sciences, especially as women continue to be underrepresented in STEM fields. Through our Hidden Figures: Women in Science project, we celebrate the accomplishments of Ohio women whose impactful work changes lives for the better daily. It is our hope that in highlighting their brilliance, compassion, and wisdom, future generations of young people will be inspired to pursue careers in the sciences, and all of us will better appreciate the role of women in the field.
In addition to the website features, a print publication is forthcoming. If you wish to be notified of the release, please fill out this form. Questions? Please contact Carlotta Penn (penn.123).
