In June, Dr. Carlotta Penn represented the College of Education and Human Ecology as part of an Ohio State University delegation to Grenoble, France for the annual Campus in Campus Board Meeting. The Campus in Campus initiative was founded by the University of Tsukuba and is a multi-institution partnership with an objective to “give rise to a multilateral network of institutions which jointly create an innovative education and research (and work) environment where the whole world become a campus for their students, faculty and administrative staff, offering countless opportunities for trying out innovative ideas.”
Participating units from Ohio State included the Office of International Affairs, College of Education and Human Ecology, College of Engineering, and College of Arts and Sciences.
During the 2-day program, Dr. Penn spoke with leaders from University of Tsukuba (Japan), University of Grenoble Alps (France), and Ruhr University Bochum (Germany) about collaboration opportunities with EHE. There is much enthusiasm for research and teaching engagements with the students, faculty, and staff of the college.
