Thank you for your interest in participating in the OSU P60 Outreach Program. This program falls under Program60 which gives Ohio residents age 60 or older the opportunity to engage in courses on an instructor permission, space-available, audit basis at the undergraduate and/or graduate level. As an effort to expand and support our diverse community, we are trying to support lower incomed older adults to be more comfortable in a higher education setting by providing a cohort learning experience while also providing technology support and access. The goal is to diversify our Program 60 population as well as give those the opportunity to pursue their goals that may have had previous barriers preventing them to do so.
Program 60 will take care of the enrollment of these cohorts and will provide technology support. We are asking for those that would be willing to reserve spots for these cohorts to engage in your courses.
Do you teach an undergraduate course that may be of interest to diverse community members 60 years an older? EDGE is partnering with The Ohio State University P60 program in an effort to increase participation of diverse populations in the program.
