Human Sciences Professor Suzanne Bartle-Haring will show her art piece, entitled “Potential” in EHE throughout the 2021-2022 academic year. During the fall semester, you can view the piece in the student service enter, 100A PAES. The exhibit will move to Arps in January. Beginning in 2020, Dr. Bartle-Haring and the EDGE staff worked to find the right space to showcase her work to the EHE community. Read more about Potential and Dr. Bartle-Haring here.
“I have been working as an artist in training for a few years now. I don’t consider myself a professional, but felt moved to create a piece that would hopefully move people to think, and hopefully change their hearts. Racism is certainly alive and too well in the US and around the world. As people start to think about what they are doing, by understanding how much structural racism is limiting potential, I hope that they can make a difference in the world. My hope is that this piece might help people take a step in that direction.”
