What did you like most about this event?

  • “I loved the encouraging tone, honest advice and recommendations, overview of the different IC’s and their priorities, and directions for when and how to use the NIH resources (e.g. reporter, matchmaker). Content was on point, and applicable for wide range of scholars.”
  • “The range of presentations—I appreciated that they did not have too much overlap. Very rich information and tailored from the expertise and passion of the presenters.”
  • “The diversity of panelists, the wealth of knowledge, and the accessibility of the presenters!”
  • “I appreciated hearing different perspectives and the positive, optimistic focus of the panel. I learned a good deal about other institutes that my research team does not typically apply to which was really helpful in thinking about a broader scope of my long-term research agenda.”
  • “I really appreciated the transparency and encouragement from the panelists, as well as the representation of scientists of color.”
  • “I appreciated the intentional commitment to diversity and early career researchers. Certainly, you all addressed my anxiety about applying for NIH funding.”
